Breck, along with Matt were integral parts of the Police Reform Committee and were essential in the drafting of the Police Reform Policy the County adopted, the Sheriff's Office will continue to provide increased training (i.e. de-escalation training, diversity training, & much more) to better serve the community under Breck's direction as Sheriff.

To partner with the Schuyler County District Attorney's Office to restore the Investigator position that was lost due to the new Discovery Laws.  This position will help combat the drug issues within the County, reaching out and working with the communities directly will also be part of this pursuit.

Continued improvement of systems and procedures, along with re-allocation within the Sheriff's Office to allow the Deputies more road time, more time protecting & serving our communities.

Increase transparency with the Sheriff's Office by Community Outreach.  Getting our Deputies out in the community to meet the residents, along with hosting events such as;  "Come Learn about the Sheriff's Office",  "Cones with Cops", and others to engage with the individuals & families in our County.
